Clinical Residency Program
At KHU’s KM hospital you'll find high technology being used in conjunction with millennia-old techniques. The technology being used include MRI's, X-rays, pulse diagnosis machines and ultra sound; the traditional techniques being used include moxa, herbs, acupuncture, silver spike, bee venom, herbal-puncture, aromatherapy, physical therapy, and Tuina.
The Clinical Residency Program is designed to expose our Western colleagues to Korean Medicine as practiced in Asia in a hospital setting.
Here you’ll see hundreds of patients in designated departments presented with both Eastern and Western diagnoses and gain insight into Korean techniques of treatments both with acupuncture and herbal prescriptions.
Contact the IEIKM department to design you own residency program to suit your clinical needs. Attendees are asked to choose one or two departments to study and observe for a minimum of one week. If you choose to study for an extended period, we can arrange for you to study in various departments for a minimum of a week/department.
